Withdrawals

Withdrawals

At Bharathi Vidya Mandir Matric Higher Secondary School, we strive to make the process of withdrawal transparent and smooth for students and parents. To ensure proper documentation and financial settlement, the following guidelines must be strictly followed:

Mid-Term Withdrawals

Students who withdraw in the middle of the academic year, for any reason, are required to pay the full fees for the entire academic year, regardless of the date of withdrawal.

Notice Period

A minimum of 7 days' written notice is required for any withdrawal. This allows the school administration adequate time to process the necessary documentation and finalize records.

Transfer Certificate (T.C.) Requests

  • Requests for a Transfer Certificate must be submitted in the prescribed application form, duly signed by the parent or legal guardian.
  • The request should be made before the last working day of the academic year or by the notified deadline to avoid delays.

Clearance of Dues

  • Transfer Certificates will be issued only if all dues, including tuition fees, special fees, library dues, and any other payments, are fully cleared.
  • No certificates or progress reports will be released if any balance remains unsettled.

Parents are encouraged to plan withdrawals thoughtfully and notify the school in advance to ensure a hassle-free exit process. The school reserves the right to withhold certificates until all procedural and financial obligations are fulfilled.

Withdrawals Under Compulsion

While Bharathi Vidya Mandir Matric Higher Secondary School strives to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for every student, the school reserves the right to initiate compulsory withdrawal under specific circumstances where academic, financial, or disciplinary standards are not met. The following rules will apply:

Fee Defaulters

  • Students who are repeatedly irregular in fee payment may be subject to compulsory withdrawal from the school.
  • Parents/guardians will be mandated to clear all outstanding dues before the student’s name is formally removed from the school rolls.
  • Continued non-compliance may lead to denial of access to academic records and certificates.

Academic Underperformance

  • A single academic failure may be permitted during the orientation period (typically the early schooling years), allowing the student time to adjust.
  • Any academic failure beyond the orientation phase, particularly due to persistent underperformance or lack of effort, will result in compulsory withdrawal.
  • No exceptions or relaxations will be granted in such cases, as academic standards must be maintained.

Disciplinary Grounds

  • The Principal holds the authority to recommend withdrawal if a student’s conduct, behavior, or influence is found to be harmful or disruptive to the moral, academic, or cultural environment of the school.
  • This includes instances of gross indiscipline, disrespect towards staff, misconduct with peers, or any activity deemed detrimental to the school's reputation and values.
  • In such cases, the decision of the Principal is final and binding.

These measures are intended to uphold the integrity, discipline, and academic excellence that Bharathi Vidya Mandir stands for. We count on the cooperation of all parents and guardians in maintaining a positive and productive school atmosphere.
