Parents’ Involvement

At Bharathi Vidya Mandir Matric Higher Secondary School, we believe that parents are invaluable partners in the educational journey of their children. The following guidelines outline how parents can effectively participate in school life and stay engaged in their ward’s progress:

Parental Role in Education

Parents are regarded as co-educators and stakeholders in their child’s academic and character development. The school hosts various activities throughout the academic year that invite and encourage parent involvement, including:

Parent-Staff Contact Sessions
Annual Day Celebrations

Other cultural and academic programs

Contact Guidelines

Only parents or legal guardians are permitted to meet the staff during official contact sessions. Relatives or other representatives will not be entertained.
Teachers are not available for discussion during regular school hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), as they are engaged in teaching, class preparation, and evaluation tasks. We request parents to respect this and avoid walk-in visits during working hours.

Meeting with Teachers

Parents who wish to meet with the Class Teacher or Subject Teachers are kindly requested to do so:

On Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, or
During the designated Parent-Staff Contact Sessions announced by the school.

Mutual Respect and Communication

Effective communication between parents and the school is vital for the student's well-being. We encourage respectful and constructive interaction at all times. Suggestions, concerns, or queries may be submitted through written communication or scheduled appointments via the school office.
